Hey there,
I know I haven’t been on here in a while, but I’ve been trying to figure out what direction I want to take with my blog. To be honest, I still don’t have it all figured out but I have a plan.
Anyway, life has been hectic for many of us. I have been taking it day by day. We are now 3 weeks into the year 2021 and so much has taken place. As we embark on this New Year I just want to remind y’all of somethings I have learned and implemented this year and beyond.
Raise the bar and the expectations you have for yourself. Whatever you want for yourself think of it on a larger scale.
After God, you come first. Sometimes we do too much for others, people please will get exhausting. Go the extra mile for yourself.
Make space for God. Our ideas and plans can be good, but are we leaving space for God to come and direct you? 2020 has shown us that we make our plans and God laughs. Involve him in all of your plans and be okay with him redirecting you.
Start moving out on faith. A lot of us believe but we don’t have the faith to take the first step. Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase. — Martin Luther King, Jr.
Your ideas and voice are valid. Speak up for yourself and pursue things that you feel as if “too many” people are doing. Apply this to where it is needed and, ESPECIALLY in the workspace.
